Why my niece is cooler than yours

Mmmmkay. All of my nieces and nephew's are cooler than yours. Let's just say that right now. But, today, we're talking about Portia.
I know. You now all think that I'm a total jerk for not feeling super sorry for her. However, I do feel super sorry for her. I love that baby more than any other 2 year old in the whole wide world. She's a sweet baby sweet if I ever did see one. To see her in pain makes me want to cry.
However, my two year old niece now has more life experience than her 22 year old aunt.
I've never broken a bone.
She has also kissed more boys than I have.
Because she's good at flirting.
And she's such a pretty little thing.
She's basically my hero.

just to show off.

For part of my mom's Christmas present, I needed to gather some pictures of the fam. Upon looking at these pictures, I decided that I may have one of the prettiest families in the world. So, I'm going to show you all of the pretty pictures so that you can all bask in the beauty of my family.

short norman

so, for the past three days, i've been living in Norman, OK with cassy and brandon.
brandon started school on monday, and cassy graduates in 5 days (yaya!)
so i'm helping to take care of this little sugar
for those of you who don't know, Norman, OK is the home of the University of Oklahoma.
OU is where brandon is attending school.
so, i have seen the campus a couple times.
and several of the people on the campus.
i am not kidding, every single girl i have seen on campus or walking around Norman was wearing these
really. every single girl.
maybe this is just an OU thing.
maybe there's a safety issue that says that all girls must be ready to RUN away at a second's notice.
maybe this is a fashion trend that's sweeping the nation but hasn't hit BYU yet (we do have a strict dress code).
it was a little strange, though, to see all those girls wearing exactly the same thing.
