Justygymie? Yes. (Kathleen should watch this video)

So, I just talked about Michael Jackson, but have I told you about Justin Timberlake before?
Not as in "do you know who he is?" of course you know who he is. He's Justin Timberlake. But have I told you about my love? Well, it's a shared love. With Kathleen. We were die hard N*SYNC fans. Probably because we knew only of N*SYNC and Hanson. But, in any case, we loved them with our whole hearts.
Truly, we were biggest fans of JT and JC.
Joey had pineapple hair.
Everybody was obsessed with Lance's baby faced cuteness.
Did anybody actually love Chris? Or know what happened to him?
But Justin and JC, they were golden.
And, after the pain subsided following the break up of N*SYNC, and JC disappeared, the love of Justin grew.
We both had dreams to marry the man who brought us "No Strings Attached" and "Love Stoned." Since there are two of us and one of him, we called the effect of this Justygymie.
Although, Kathleen is now married, so I don't have to partake in Justygymie any longer. He can be all mine

Today, I have another video to share with you. I was perusing Brissa's blog, and found this little bundle of joy therein. Feel free to fall in love with Justin. I found it hard not to.

The three levels of country

I grew up in Oklahoma. I don't recollect if I've mentioned that.
In Oklahoma, we love our country music.
Good 'ol OK has produced greats, such as
Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks, and Toby Keith
(also, Brad Pitt and Hanson. I know they're not country, but they're cool)
So, being from Oklahoma, it is obvious that I have a good grasp on country.
In high school, Kathleen and I listened to it a lot.
We found that, like all genres of music, it is not all good.
There are three levels of country.

You should probably be listening to country while you read this. For ambiance.

Good Country:
This type spans across time and space. It doesn't matter when it was produced, from Bob Wills to Patsy Cline to Willy Nelson to Dolly Parton to Blake Shelton to Lady Antebellum, if it's good, it fits in this most high level. And you enjoy it.

Old Country:
This is the older country that is not quite good enough to make it into the "good country" category, but not bad enough to make it into the next one. It's just old.

Suck Country:

Suck Country, like Good Country, isn't prejudice against time period. Like Hufflepuff, Suck Country takes in the stragglers. There's not anything great or stand out-ish about Suck Country. These are the "mah truck broke doyawn, Ah lost mah gun, and mah girl leyaft, but my trusty dowg's still bah mah side" songs.

I hope you've enjoyed this bit of education. I usually feel the need to share my fountain of wisdom with others.

fun fact number 13

as a kid, i was completely certain that i was going to marry Zac Hanson (you know, the youngest Hanson brother?).

it was a perfectly attainable dream, i grew up in Broken Arrow, Hanson's from Tulsa.

i knew people that knew them.

i still love Hanson.
it is a guilty pleasure.
i can't marry any of them, they're all married. with babies.

but, as i said in my last post, i do know all the words to mmm bop
i would post the video, but it's pretty lame. look it up if you want to, but you have been warned.

just so you don't judge me too much, this is what Hanson looks like now.
they got a lot more attractive, considering everyone used to think they were girls.

oh, and in case you wanted to learn the words to mmm bop yourself, here you go. learn away.
if you do learn them all, i promise that next time you listen to this song, you'll feel really cool.

You have so many relationships in this life
Only one or two will last
You're going through all this pain and strife
Then you turn your back and they're gone so fast
And they're gone so fast

So hold on the ones who really care
In the end they'll be the only ones there
When you get old and start losing your hair
Can you tell me who will still care
Can you tell me who will still care

Mmm bop, ba duba dop
Ba du bop, ba duba dop
Ba du bop, ba duba dop
Ba du

Mmm bop, ba duba dop
Ba du bop, Ba du dop
Ba du bop, Ba du dop
Ba du

In an mmm bop, they're gone
Plant a seed, plant a flower, plant a rose
You can plant any one of those
Keep planting to find out which one grows
It's a secret no one knows
It's a secret no one knows
No one knows

Mmm bop, ba duba dop
Ba du bop, ba duba dop
Ba du bop, ba duba dop
Ba du

Mmm bop, ba duba dop
Ba du bop, Ba du dop
Ba du bop, Ba du dop
Ba du

In an mmm bop they're gone.
In an mmm bop they're not there.
In an mmm bop they're gone.
In an mmm bop they're not there.
Until you lose your hair. But you don't care.

Mmm bop, ba duba dop
Ba du bop, ba duba dop
Ba du bop, ba duba dop
Ba du

Mmm bop, ba duba dop
Ba du bop, Ba du dop
Ba du bop, Ba du dop
Ba du

Can you tell me? Night came but you don't know.
Can you tell me? You say you can but you don't know.
Can you tell me which flower's going to grow?
Can you tell me if it's going to be a daisy or a rose?
Can you tell me which flower's going to grow?
Can you tell me? You say you can but you don't know.

You say you can but you don't know.
You don't know
You don't know

Mmm bop
Ba du bop
Ba du bop
Ba du

Mmm bop
Ba du bop
Ba du bop
Ba du

Mmm bop, ba duba dop
Ba du bop, ba duba dop
Ba du bop, ba duba dop
Ba du

Mmm bop, ba duba dop
Ba du bop, Ba du dop
Ba du bop, Ba du dop
Ba du

Mmm bop, ba duba dop
Ba du bop, ba duba dop
Ba du bop, ba duba dop
Ba du

Mmm bop, ba duba dop
Ba du bop, Ba du dop
Ba du bop, Ba du dop
Ba du

the epic popsicle

i wasn't really sure how to convey how AWESOME this popsicle was.
so, i came up with some names to show it:

the popsicle and the chamber of secrets
the lord of the popsicles
gladi-sicle
gone with the popsicle
dino-popsicle
the popsicle strikes back

ok, now that you've read how huge of a deal it was, here's a visual:
not only is it HUGE, but it's delicious. crazy delicious. like red vines and mr. pibb. only better. it was awesome.

the popsicle is just one element to the amazing day off of school and work i had yesterday.
it was the first holiday from school i'd had since Feb. 17 (president's day.)
and no, i don't count the 5 days i had in between winter and spring semesters. i was moving. ugh.
but, because it was a holiday, i made the most of it.
we sat by the pool (the bridge of my nose got pink. that's it)
we ate monster snow cones (mine later became mega popsicle up there)
we went to a barbecue (conner almost died, or at least his hair did)
we played scum (the game ended with me as the king)
we went to bianca's fhe (can you say teeter totter?)
we danced to mmm bop and nights of endless pleasure (i know all the words to mmm bop. and yes, there are words)
we watched she's the man on the porch (you didn't know it was possible, but that movie is actually better outside!)
my left arm smelled like a boy (just the left. weird)
bianca almost killed a deer (and lived to tell the tale)

it was sweet.
but most of all, the popsicle was huge.
