The Projects

No, this is not a post about how my service in the projects of the inner city and all of the amazing work that I did. (Although, perhaps then you would be so much more impressed with me).

No. This post is about projects that I finished in the last couple of weeks.

Here's the deal:
I'm really good at finding and starting projects. Buuuut not so good at finishing them.
However, in the last couple of weeks, I have been really efficient. And I thought I'd share them with you. So here we go!

These are my New Years Resolutions. I have not started on most of these, but writing things down is the first step, right?

These are the Valentines I made this year, or a third of them. I made 12. They ended up so cool that I framed 4 of them. Man, I love Harry Potter.

This is the map that I made. I saw the idea on a vinyl letter wall that somebody had done. It was totally awesome, so I did it, too. Mine's just way smaller.

This is my paint chip wall art. Seriously. Paint chips. They're free! This one may change. We'll see.
So, there you have it. I'm just really excited about these. So, I thought I'd gloat about my massive amounts of creativity and talent/being able to tweak other peoples' projects.

This is why I'd be perfectly alright with my future kids' first words being Paul McCartney.

honestly, this made me tear up a little bit.
And this is why I will MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Phrases you will often never hear.

Guys, this literally almost made me pee my pants. I had to watch it 3 times to hear everything he says. It was so funny that I was laughing too hard to hear it. So, watch the beauty, and LAUGH!

What do the Beatles, Queen, Jefferson Airplane, and Bieber all have in common?

They all just want somebody to love.
(Not that I'm in any way implying that the latter holds a candle to the former(s). Just an observation)

If you want some fun, sing o-bla-di-bla-da

I'd like to start this post by saying that I love the Beatles. So much love.
But, until recently, I was under the school of thought that there were two types of Beatles lovers.
Those who preferred their earlier hits
(Love me do, I want to hold your hand, She loves you,
You know, the more wholesome stuff)
And those who gravitated toward the more psychedelic grooves
(Lucy in the sky with diamonds, Elenor Rigby, Hey bulldog. Those greats)
I used to be the former. As I said I love the Beatles, but I would have rather taken the earlier over the later any day.
Then, yesterday, I took another, different look at those later albums.
Sgt. Pepper, Abbey Road, Yellow Submarine, etc.
Conversion.
Not that I didn't love them before, but that love grew exponentially in the last few days.
Bang Bang, Maxwell's silver hammer came down on my head.
